Lucid Reality Labs won the Golden Lovie Awards and People’s Lovie 2023

Lucid Reality Labs LLC, in collaboration with the Medtronic team, just achieved a significant milestone by winning the Gold Lovie and People’s Lovie in the Web3 & XR: Best Use of Technology category at the 13th Annual Lovie Awards!

With the Medical VR Intubation Simulation revolutionizing medical training, our project was chosen from 1,200 entries from 30 countries across Europe, underscoring the exceptional quality of work in healthcare technology. This recognition is particularly noteworthy given the increasing importance of XR in enhancing medical procedures and training and setting a new standard for technological innovation in the healthcare industry.

Launched in 2010, The Lovie Award is presented by the European arm of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS)—a 4000+ members body that also judges The Webby Awards. The Academy is comprised of—leading Internet experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries, artists, and talented entertainers and creators. Work is judged in seven native languages, including Spanish, Italian, Dutch, French, German, Swedish, and English.

The Lovie Awards presents Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners. The online public also votes for their favorite Finalists to take home The People’s Lovie Award in each category. This year’s People’s Love received over 50,000 votes from across Europe.
