In 2023, Lucid Reality Labs, in collaboration with Medtronic, launched the world’s first AI-powered medical subject matter expert—a hyper-realistic digital twin of Dr. Patrick Schoettker, a renowned anesthesiologist and Head of the Department of Anesthesiology at Lausanne University Hospital. This AI agent redefines medical training and patient care, combining advanced machine learning with intelligent decision-making to deliver precision, adaptability, and user engagement, particularly in the critical field of anesthesiology and intubation.
