Lucid Reality Labs won the Anthem Awards for the Best Use of XR Technology
Opening the 2024’s record with a fantastic win! Lucid Reality Labs won Silver The Anthem Awards for “Seeing the Problem,” The Extended Reality (XR) Macular Disease Simulation developed for global Ophthalmology leader Roche.
The project aims to raise awareness about the challenge of people living with this condition. Being one of the most common conditions and the most significant cause of sight loss, macular disease impacts nearly 200 million people globally. The solution was developed for the Varjo headset.
After months of in-depth deliberation, including 10,000 reviews by judges in the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, and over 25,000 community votes in the inaugural Anthem Community Voice Celebration, the 3rd Annual Anthem Awards Winners have been announced, among which is Lucid Reality Labs!
The 3rd Anthem Awards focuses on purpose and mission-driven work and is powered by iconic The Webby Awards. The Anthem Awards honors people, companies, and organizations worldwide by amplifying the voices that spark global change and defining a new benchmark for social impact work that inspires others to take action in their community.
