Professor and Head of the Department of Anesthesiology at the CHUV University Hospital (Lausanne, Switzerland) Patrick Schoettker, MD, is joining the Advisory board of Lucid Reality Labs. With his expertise in complex airway management solutions, various airway devices, and multiple patents in airway management and monitoring, he will ensure the most recent knowledge and innovation will be implemented in the solutions we provide to our partners. Together with Lucid Reality Labs, he will focus on empowering Healthcare with all the insights and tools XR and AI technologies can provide to the domain.
Being a co-founder of Biospectal, the startup that revolutionizes accessibility and actionability of connected remote hypertension patient monitoring, management, and research through software embedded in the global base of smartphones and connected devices, Prof. Schoettker will elevate the subject matter expertise of Lucid Reality Labs, bringing the cutting-edge research and evidence-based knowledge to the XR industry through our solutions, services, and products. He is the clinical initiator and lead of the Medical Virtual Reality Intubation Simulation project that helps clinicians improve their understanding of tracheal intubation with the help of Virtual Reality for Videolaryngoscopy and Fiberscopes.
